1001 Blankets to Uttarakhand as a relief measure as a first lot.
SUDHA Society ( NOT FOR PROFIT ORG.) in the association of Art Of Living Gurgaon & RWA south city 2 Gurgaon sent 1001 Blankets to Uttarakhand as a relief measure as a first lot. on 26th June 2013. We arranged the small function at A- 1Block South City 2 sohna Road Gurgaon at 6.30 PM on 26th June 2013 .The function was organised with the help of Art of Living Gurgaon, and RWA south city 2. Dr. Praveen Kumar IAS, Administrator HUDA Gurgaon, Sh. Amitabh Khare JT. GM RITES ( PSU) graced the function and blessed the blankets by touching them with their hands and spoke on the ocassion. Sh. Praveen Kumar told the gathering that one who felt suffering in life can only do this type of noble work for the society.He felt deep sorrow with the Uttarakhand Disaster
While he Appreciated the activity of SUDHA Org. which has arranged programmes like Mothers Day, World Environment Day, World Health Day, Childrens day , Tourism day , Rally on Nirbhaya etc. in the past. Mr. G K Bhatnagar President SUDHA informed that We organised this small programme on Uttarakhand Relief to create more awareness amonge people to paricipate in this compaign. and come forward for the cause.
The anchoring of the programme was done by Mrs Bhagirathy Jhinger resident of South city 2 ( Teacher of International Pathways school) The large number of residents and kids attended the programme and appreciated the activity. Mr. G K Bhatnagar also spoke on the ocassion and appreciated the work done by Ms. Neha Arora,( AOL) Ms. Jagriti Atri , Latika Tikoo ( AOL) Mrs Babita Agarwal( AOL) Manju Bhargava ( AOL),Mr. Satish Gulvady ( AOL) and Sh. Amitabh Khare resident of south city 2 in collecting the blankets/ fund door to door from residents .Mr. Akassh. Pramod kumar Executive members of SUDHA society took active part in arranging the programme . Mrs Shashi Kiran Bhatnagar Member SUDHA Sh. Pk Khanna Resident of South city 2 also spoke on the ocassion and proposed the vote of thanks. At the out set Reema Danial Sung the 'ham ho gaye kam yab ek deen " geeth on the Gitar. Children of south city 2 also spoke on the ocassion they are Ms. Khushi, Pushpangi, Gini, Osheen etc
