Teachers Day


A teacher plays a great role in the student’s lives. Teacher’s are the real shapers of future of the students which can never be ignored. Teachers make their own lesson plan to make education more effective and interesting as well as facilitate students learning.

On 5th September 1888, India's second President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born. As an academic, philosopher, and statesman, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (1888-1975) was one of the most recognized and influential Indian thinkers in academic circles in the 20th century. His birth date day is celebrated as Teacher's Day all across India, every year.

SUDHA Society believe in celebrating Teacher’s Day by supporting Children Education. On the eve of Teacher’s Day activities were conducted to emphasize the importance of Teachers to SUDHA Open School students. Later the students greeted all their teachers with garlands and paid their respect and gratitude. Sh. GK Bhatnagar, President of SUDHA Society welcomed and addressed all the volunteers (teachers) and felicitated them with flowers and plants.

Mrs. Nilima Thomas, Sh. Damodar Maheshwari, Mrs. Sangeeta Gupta and Mrs. Hema Joshi, were the volunteers. The event came to an end with the volunteers addressing the students and blessing them to become good citizens, along with refreshments for everyone.
