Republic Day 2021
Shri. Shailesh Giri President I block South City- 2 Gurugram invited Shri. G.K. Bhatnagar (International Recognised Philanthropist ) Chairperson Sudha Society Foundation for giving him an opportunity to address the Residents of I block South City 2 Extension on 26th January 2021 Republic Day celebration. He also got a chance to honour senior citizen of the block that day being 72 years old. Mr.Bhatnagar in his address to Residents suggested to make their block a Model Block of South City 2 considering harmony in the block.
He shared his vision/ideas how to make It a model block:

Segregation of WET and DRY waste, join hands with MCG in reducing the Bhandwari waste mountain.

Save WATER while cleaning car.Use water in a bucket.

Take initiative for Rain water harvesting in the Block.

Plant more trees,saplings to increase the Oxygen level,to beautify the area and for mood elevation.

Lets take the responsibility of casting vote in every election making 100 percent voting

Have a 3 D speed breaker on the road.

Involve each child no matter what the age,in all the important day's of the month to stay connected with our roots and honour the child on important days.

Assign a pet poop( litters) area and take the pet out in a leash.

Use CLOTH/JUTE BAG only.

Be more patient on road.No honking.

Let us take care for other living beings (animals, insects, plants, etc.)

Have a safe walking track for residents.

Reuse of waste eg tyres,plastic bottles for growing plants etc

Honour all women and take responsibility of one Girl child's education from underprivileged family.

Encourage yoga and health practices in the block by engaging good practices in the block .
