Sudha Society Foundation Celebrates World Environment Day at Sudha Open School, Amaseoni
Raipur, 4th June 2026: On the eve of World Environment Day, Sudha Society Foundation celebrated the occasion at Sudha Open School, Amaseoni, Raipur.
Shri Sunil Khamari, Former Assistant General Manager, Canara Bank, graced the event as Chief Guest. He was felicitated by Shri G. K. Bhatnagar, Chairman, Sudha Society Foundation, with a sapling and a coffee mug.
The program commenced with a welcome song by the children, followed by a vibrant cultural presentation. A Nukkad Natak on environmental awareness was the highlight of the event. The following students participated in the street play: Sandhya Sahu, Isha Yadav, Priya Yadav, Santoshi Baghel, Ishika Baghel, Pramila Yadav, and Durgeshwari Sahu.
All students also participated in an environment-themed drawing competition. Prizes were distributed to all participants by the Chief Guest.
To promote green habits at home, every child was given okra bhindi and cucumber seeds along with wraped in the soil for planting in their home.As part of the celebration, five saplings were also planted by the Chief Guest and school children in the school premises.
Shri Sunil Khamari appreciated the efforts and activities of Sudha Society Foundation towards environmental awareness. Volunteers Shri Toshak, Prakhar, and Naman actively contributed to the successful conduct of the program. Mrs. Bharti + Miss khushi + Miss bhawana teachers played a role for the success of the program.Refreshments were served by the Society at the end.
The event concluded with the National Anthem sung by all present.
