A healthy mind signifies a healthy body!!
 
Nowadays people focus on physical health ,thinking about how they are looking and what would look good on them ,totally ignoring that the mental health also needs equal attention .
Yoga   is a practice that can help human beings to maintain a balance between  their physical and mental health .
 
Pranayama ,an essential component of yoga ,is the regulation of breath through certain techniques and exercises ,The word “Prana” stands for life force and this is believed to be the vital energy or life force that encompasses the body. This also serves as the link between the consciousness and the mind. It was believed that once the breath starts to wander, the mind also becomes unsteady. Once the breath is still, your mind is still as well.
 
A similar programme was arranged by sudha society with association of Art of living on 29th Jan ,2020 ,on the occassion of Vasant Panchami at A1 block ,South city-II ,Gurugram .At the outset of the programme ,Ms Kiran Sharma and Ms Daisy Singh sung the welcome song for all the audiences including the kids of sudha society open school .
 
Ms sarvpria Arora and Ms reena Kverappa,faculties at AOL ,and Ms Urvashi Puri along with Ms Reena Singh ,both volunteers from AOL ,all of them spoke in length about sudharshan kriya,explaining the true meaning as 
Sudarshan Kriya is  ‘proper vision by purifying action.’ Sudarshan Kriya is a unique breathing practice that involves cyclical breathing patterns that range from slow and calming to rapid and stimulating. In this Kriya, you take control of your breath, which positively affects your immune system, nerves, and psychological problems.
 
Col.Sant Pal Raghav and Ms.Savita Styal also spoke and discussed about their wonderful expiriences as well as the benefits of doing 
 sudharshan kriya.
 
Finally summing up the programme,Mr.GK Bhatnagar ,president of sudha society , shared his valuable expiriences of this kriya,adding that he has also been practising it for the past 20 years.The programme was highly appreciated by all .
 
We must always pay attention to our mental health as it includes our social well being and for that we all must remember that-
“Each time we set a healthy boundary, we say “yes” to more freedom.
