Cleanliness Drive

Cleanliness Drive

SUDHA Society celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Birth Anniversary of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri by conducting ‘Cleanliness Drive’ at A1 Block, South City 2, Gurugram.

The drive initiated with educating the SUDHA Open School students about Mahatma Gandhi’s views on cleanliness. Mahatma Gandhi said “Sanitation is more important than independence”. His dream was total sanitation for all. The students prepared beautiful placards with impactful slogans and posters to spread the message of cleanliness, the aim of organising such a programme was also to inculcate the message in the kids from a young age which they carry for the whole life.

The campaign started with the active contribution of students of SUDHA Open School. The students cleaned the entire street diligently and showed that they comprised the aware and proactive future force which aims to contribute their share in making India a developed nation. The effort of the students was very much appreciated by the society.

The entire campaign was successful under the guidance of Sh. Damodar Maheshwari ji, volunteer of SUDHA Society. Also, SUDHA Society aims to persevere with its efforts of bringing positive changes in the outlook of the society thereby serving the nation and the society as part of its Social Responsibility Initiative.
