The Kargil War began between India and Pakistan on May 8, 1999 when Pakistani army had illegally intruded on the Indian side of the Line of Control (LoC) dividing the Indian territory of Ladakh from the northern areas of the state. The then Indian Prime Minister AtalBihari Vajpayee declared Operation Vijay (Kargil War) a success and by July 26, Kargil War officially came to an end as Indian Army .To commemorate the heroism displayed by the soldiers, a number of events have been planned all across the country. Special functions will also be held at Kargil and Drass in Jammu and Kashmir, the war theatre where Indian soldiers fought bravely and laid down their lives to safeguard our motherland.

Of Human beings by action) ( voluntary Organizationregd) in association with Art of living & RWA south city 2 A -1 block observed the kargil victory day on 26th july 2015 sunday at 5.30 pm at A1 block center park . In the program 5 war heroesfrom different part of Gurgaon were honored by the society for their exemplary war experiences(1) subedarmatusingh age 82 appeared in two wars from bhondsi village mob no.of his son satpal 09582713671 (2) Brig. K.S. Ranasaura chakra age 72 from sispalvihar Gurgaon President sispalvihar Mob no. 9013798962 (3) capt. Narendraatri age 45 fought Kargil war & parliament attack from south city2 mob no. 09711005270 (5) Col. S.M.Atri age 75 fought 2 wars from south city 2 mob no. 09468482522

Bhatnagar President sudha society welcomed all guest present in the dias and anchored the event.He explained the importance of observing the Kargil victory day and also highlighted that the arm forces are facing the shortage of manpower by more than 10000, hence there is need that Parents should send their children in the armed forces, and there is need to reognised their services by the society / nation and their sacrifices should be known to all. In past also he informed that sudha society has observed the Environment day, Health day, Road safety day, Cancer day, Mothers day, Global Hand washing day, Tourisim day, Teachers day, Children Day, Republic Day, Girls Day,Christmas day, Valentine day, International Yoga day, Women s day ,International Laughter day, Procession against rape in Delhi, No Honking day, Swatch Bharat Swatch Colony day, Etc, and assisted the kids of HIV parents in school fees, uniform , Sent 1000 blankets in 2013 to Uttarakhand as a Relief material .There are open schools are running for the underprivileged kids with the help of Housewives of residents of south city 2 Gurgaon. A large number of Educated unemployed youths were provided Skill training through the RUDSET Institute Gurgaon Society also .distributed clothes and food to poor people from time to time and try cycle to handicapped people.The society is having Regional office in Raipur (CG), Nagpur ( Ms ), & Ghaziabad (UP). The society is having 80 G and 12a Income Tax Exemption from the income tax office.All years audits are done for its accounts and income Tax returns are sent to income tax deptt. By the society.it is Regd with the registrar office Gurgaon in the year 2009 having 11 professional from all the fields and belongs to 7 states and having all india character.
Sh. Asthana also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the role of Sudha society for observing the kargil day and honouring the war heros and inviting drawing Painting slogan from children on this topic. All the Guest present spoke on the occassion.The large number of residents were present on the occasion. Sh. Abdul samad khan from south city 2 (Gurgaonsurkumar 2011- 2015) and Reema George from south city 2 sung patriotic songs on this occasion.
Sh. himlayaaniljoshi also recited the kargil war poems which was appreciated by all.Two kids from sudha open school also participated the activity and recited the poems.
On 26thjuly 2015program Children were encouraged to participate in the program for drawing/ painting/ sketch competition on war heroes topic. Slogan are also invited on this topic.Three prizes on each category were givenby the society to the children through the guests present. All the residents give big clapping to War heros and children who won the prizes in the competitions. MrsmamtaTyagi&MrsDivyaVerma from south city 2 A1 block were the judges of the Drawing / slogan competitions.sh. pramodkumarfaculty art of living guided the gathering with the clapping methods and yoga tips.Sh. MukeshKumar , sh. Akashagarwal (executive member sudha society) and Dr. Ritusaneja took active part to make the program grand Success.sh. S. P. Gaur vice President sudhasociety ,MrsshashikiranBhatnagar member, Ms. Vijita member sudha society were also present on this occasion.
The program ended with the national songs sung by all the residents.The program was highly appreciated by all the guests and residents. Refreshments was served to all after the national song sung.
