International Youth Day Celebration
Sudha Open School, Amaseoni, Raipur, celebrated International Youth Day on August 12, 2025, in Amaseoni village. Shri Gopal Krishna Bhatnagar, Chairman of the institution, emphasized the significance of youth as a stage of life where individuals transition from adolescence to adulthood, characterized by energy, enthusiasm, and the capacity to adopt new ideas.
Key Highlights:
- The institution organized a 2-day martial arts camp (August 11-12) to provide self-defense training to students.
- The camp was conducted by Shri Mrityunjay Sahu, instructor at Nirbhaya Self-Defense Martial Arts Institute, Chhattisgarh, which is government-recognized.
- The training focused on empowering students, especially girls, with various self-defense techniques to stay safe in crisis situations.
- Dr. R.K. Pandey, former Vice-Chancellor of Amethi University, inaugurated the program and encouraged the students.
Program Organization:
- Smt. Bharati, Arna Sharma, and Kumari Khushi played a commendable role in making the program a success.
