World NGO Day
World NGO Day - The universal concept of World NGO Day is Celebrate, Commemorate and Collaborate the various NGOs around the world, and the people behind them. World NGO Day is a day for NGOs around the globe to share knowledge and experiences with one another. On This day Sudha Society Foundation team, Mr GK Bhatnagar - Founder & Chairman, Ms Ruchi Saxena - President, Ms Kiran Sharma- Chairperson Domestic Violence and women empowerment, Ms Anjali Saxena- Team lead Media and Communication travelled to Village Bassi in Himachal Pradesh met with NGO- Himalyan Mahila Avam Jan kalyan Sanstha (Ms Anjana Thakur- Founder, Mr. Anil M.D) and shared knowledge on Menstrual Hygiene and sanitary pads distribution to Village women through DISHA Workers.
This project they are successfully running in HP since 2018 as Swasth Bharat Swasth Beti Abhiyaan (A model based on self employment for women) Team Sudha also met with MLA of District Bhoranj - Mrs Kamlesh Kumari - to explore opportunities of extending social work arms of Sudha society Foundation in Himachal Pradesh and team was well received and Welcomed by Honourable member and assured of support in any activities in HP.
Team Sudha also met with founder member of Sudha society Mrs.Ritika Sharma and her family member and Ms Nalin Gupta & his family - local businessman at Hamirpur and appraise them about societ Activities.
