May 8, 2022: On the occasion of international Mothers Day, SUDHA Society Foundation organized a very special tribute for mothers of children from underprivileged background, at Bhondsi, Basai Road and South City 2, Gurugram. The event celebrated motherhood and help rejuvenate the mother-child bond.
The chairman of SUDHA Society, Shri Gopal Krishna Bhatnagar said that Mother's Day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May. People try to make their mother feel special on this day and tell her what is the role of mother in their life. Mother is the idol of God. Mother's love never diminishes from birth till the end of the child.
Ruchi Saxena President Sudha se sudhar said that Mother's love is priceless, no one can repay mother's loan in one's lifetime. In our religious texts, in Gurukul education, the Guru teaches "Matra Devo Bhava". Respect for mothers is the hallmark of our culture. Therefore, on this special day, our students associated with SUDHA Society, celebrated mother's day with a lot of enthusiasm, as they paid a loving tribute to their mothers. They made thankyou cards and paintings, with adorned and heartfelt messages for their mothers.
The NGO and SUDHA volunteers Deepti, Pooja, Kirti, Anjali, Garima, Minash, Dakshata, Prithika, Babita distributed Benetton T-shirts and facewash to all the mothers and children
Around 150 people participated and celebrated
Sudha Society Foundation and Shubh Multi Speciality Hospital, Vidhan Sabha Road, Raipur, organized a program to honor motherhood on the occasion of Mother's Day on March 8th 2022. Shri Gopal Krishna Bhatnagar, Chairman of Sudha Society, welcomed all the guests and stated that Mother's Day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May. People try to make their mothers feel special on this day and tell them about their role in their lives. Mother is the embodiment of God. A mother's love never diminishes from birth to the end of her child's life.
The chief guest of the program were Shri Rajesh Singh Rana, IAS, Special Secretary, Education, and Director of SCERT and Director literacy mission and managing director of text book corporation , Shri Mahendra Bapna, President, Sepphire Green Society as a Guest of Honour. Around 15 distinguished and progressive women from various fields were honored.Sh G k bhatnagar chairman presented mementos to Chief Guests and Guest of Honours at the end of the program.
Dr. Vivek Goel, Head of Shubh Multi Speciality Hospital, was also present as a Guest of honour.. The honored women included:
- Shri Tulika Pandey, a leading entrepreneur
- Dr. Samidha Gupta, a career counselor
- Reema Acharya, Ritu Kara, Swapna Pandit, social workers
- Riya Sadija, a successful tailor who started with a capital of Rs. 1 lakh and is now doing 20 times more business
- Shakuntala Sharma, a poet
- Renuka Sonawane, an animal helper who treats injured cows and dogs on the road
- Keya Vaswani, a documentary filmmaker who has received the President's Award
- Shri Swaroop Pandit, Co-Founder of Rainmaker Institute, who has been doing career counseling and social work for 10 years
- Mrs. Pooja Bhatnagar, a homemaker
- Dr. Joya Khan, who was also given a certificate of appreciation
- Dr. Aarti Sathe, who has trained many farmers in organic farming
All the guests shared their thoughts on motherhood on Mother's Day. Our religious scriptures teach us to respect our mothers, who are our first teachers. Honoring mothers is a part of our culture.
The program was anchored by volunteer Mrs. Dolly Samrani.Mrs. shashi kiran bhatnagar vice - president of society proposed the vote of thanks.All guests were served refreshments at the end of the program.
