SUDHA Society ( Society For Sudha Upliftment And Development of Human Beings By Action ) observed the Road safety day i.e. 15.01.2017 today at A1 Block South City 2 Gurgaon 122018 ( Sohna Road ) under traffic Road Safety Week observed from 9th to 15th January 2017 by Government .
Road Safety Day- 15th January 2017
While India observes the world safety week from 9th to 15th Jan, we observed the last day of the week as Road Safety Day to build awareness amongst the South City 2 community about the significance of road safety rules. We along with residents and kids took to the streets of South City-2 to urge the community at large to stick to road rules for their safety. We encouraged everyone through slogans penned on placards.
Motivating the youth into the road safety movement, we organized a slogan writing competition for kids aged 7 to 14, which saw participation from SUDHA open school and resident kids. The event was also complemented by spectacular dance performances from the children.
The prizes for the slogan writing competition were awarded by the event’s chief guest, Himmat Bharadwaj, a record builder in the field of mathematics. Among the special guests of the event were Sh. Rajesh Dua, social Worker, Sh. Yudisteer Dua Advocate, Sh. Ishwer Arora, Businessman and Sh. Kishore Taneja social worker from Faridabad.
